Campaign organiser and objective 

The organiser of the campaign “Together against Cystic Fibrosis” is Unicoms Switzerland GmbH – Sofia Branch, with UIC: 204642513, registered office and registered address. Registered office and registered address: – Sofia, Sofia Blvd. “Bulgaria” № 118, represented by Damyan Damyanov (hereinafter referred to as “Unicoms”).

The Campaign is conducted in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Participation (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC”). 

The campaign is organised and conducted with the following objective: To improve the quality of life for every person diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and help them manage the disease by donating a Zano Nebuliser.  

Place and time of the Survey and the Game 

The Campaign Period is from 23.10.2024 to 23.10.2027 and the period may be extended at the discretion of Unicoms.

The Campaign takes place on the territory of Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Romania. 

Eligibility 

The campaign is open to all persons diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. In order to participate in the campaign and receive a free Zano nebuliser, applicants must submit an email request to Unicoms at the following email address: [email protected] and complete a declaration of consent for the processing of personal data, which they will find on the following website: www.zanoinspire.com/cf 

Application procedure 

Application: persons wishing to participate in the campaign should express their wish to participate in the campaign by sending an email to the following email address: [email protected]  

Documentation: Medical documentation verifying the person’s diagnosis of cystic fibrosis should be attached to the application. 

Declaration of consent: persons wishing to take part in the campaign must fill in and sign a declaration of consent for the processing of personal data, which can be found at the following Internet address: www.zanoinspire.com/cf or by contacting Unicoms to be provided with one. The declaration must be signed manually by the person wishing to participate in the campaign, or by his/her guardian if the person is a minor, and must be sent electronically, together with the other documents and/or in original to the Unicoms address in Sofia, bul. “Bulgaria” № 118, floor 5. 

Procedure for providing a nebuliser

Once the documents have been reviewed by Unicoms and the application has been approved, Unicoms will arrange for the nebuliser to be made available by sending it or handing it over in person, for which an acceptance report will be signed. Nebulisers will be allocated based on availability and need, with priority given to the most urgent cases. 

Receiving a new nebuliser

Validity period: Nebulisers will be provided for a period of three years. 

Renewal Procedure: Once three years have passed from the day of receiving the nebuliser, individuals may reapply for a new nebuliser by following the same application procedure. Individuals are not required to return the old nebuliser. 

Processing of personal data

Unicoms will process candidates’ personal data for campaign purposes only. Personal data will be stored in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Bulgarian legislation. 

Rights and obligations 

  • Participants’ rights: Participants have the right to access their personal data and the right to correct or delete such data under the terms of the law. 
  • Unicoms’ Obligations: Unicoms is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of the personal data provided. 

By submitting an application for participation in the campaign, each candidate grants his/her explicit and informed consent to Unicoms Switzerland GmbH – Sofia Branch, UIC 204642513, with registered office and registered address in Sofia, Bulgaria. Sofia, p.k. 1618, Vitosha district, ul. “Bulgaria” № 118, represented by Damyan Chavdarov Damyanov, to process their personal data as a personal data controller for the purpose of the application, evaluation, implementation (donation of a medical device type nebuliser). The consent referred to in the preceding paragraph relates to the processing of the following categories of personal data: 

  • personal data (three names, age, contact details); 
  • health data (documents certifying a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis). 

Any candidate may withdraw consent by sending an email to [email protected] at any time with respects for the future, in whole or in part, without thereby affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent now given. 

Each applicant’s personal data will be retained in each case for as long as necessary to fulfil the relevant purposes, including verification of the condition of not having received an nebuliser-type medical device from Unicoms in the last three years, or in accordance with the statutory time limits, after which it will be erased/deleted or anonymised. 

Data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients of personal data: 

  • Companies providing Unicoms information services; 
  • Couriers and suppliers;  
  • Companies that provide legal and accounting services to Unicoms; 
  • The competent public authorities in implementation of legal provisions. 

Each candidate declares that he/she is aware of the rights he/she can exercise with regard to the categories of personal data processed by Unicoms, namely:  

  • To receive information at the time of collection of my personal data; 
  • To withdraw my consent to the processing of my personal data; 
  • Request access to your personal data; 
  • Request that my personal data be corrected;  
  • Request that my personal data be deleted;   
  • To restrict the processing of my personal data;  
  • To object to the processing of your personal data;  
  • To exercise their right to data portability; 
  • To seek protection of his/her rights by filing a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection at Blvd. “Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov № 2, Sofia, Bulgaria 1592. More information about the procedure can be found at: https://www.cpdp.bg/  

Any of the listed rights may be exercised by sending a written application in free text to the address. Sofia, p.k. 1618, Vitosha district, 1618 Vitosha Blvd. “Bulgaria” № 118. The application may be submitted in person or by an authorised person, unless a special law provides otherwise. The application shall contain the name, address and personal identification number or ID number of the applicant, or other similar identifier, a description of the request, the preferred form of communication and actions under Articles 15-22 of the General Data Protection Regulation, signature, date of submission of the application and address for correspondence. If the application is submitted by proxy, an explicit power of attorney should also be attached. 

Campaign termination

Unicoms reserves the right to terminate the campaign at any time should unforeseen circumstances or changes in legislation require, without liability to participants.
